Linda Bridges

Linda Bridges is an artist, writer, and children’s storybook illustrator. She first learned to paint using oils back in the 80s and 90s and sold some fine oil paintings and a few in watercolor, but she put all that behind her when she and her husband moved back overseas in 2004—2009—to Chiang Mai, Thailand. Linda picked up watercolor painting again in 2014 and also learned to use pastels and acrylics in various forms in 2017. She still paints occasionally using soft pastels and oils. Her art style is varied from realism to impressionistic to abstract. Linda is a current member of Pikes Peak Watercolor Society. She sells her art in local galleries, on her personal website and in her Etsy shop.

Linda declares she’s still catching up on all the new art techniques and products that came out while she was overseas. Seven years ago, she resigned from her career work and began dabbling in watercolors, pen & ink sketching, soft pastels, and acrylics, and began writing for fun again. She has a blog and has written and illustrated two children’s picture books for ages 4-7-year-olds. Find out what she’s up to these days on her website and Facebook.
