Service Description

Alcohol inks are a very exciting and flexible medium.  They can be painted, poured, and dripped on a variety of surfaces including "sealed" paper surfaces such as Yupo and on tiles and glass.  Alcohol inks are extremely vivid and saturated, so the colors are bright and attractive.  Drawing skills are not needed although, like with watercolor, you can choose to do realistic subjects or very abstract ones.  In this workshop, we will experiment with several different techniques on Yupo paper, and Karen will also have some ceramic tiles on hand for purchase in case students might want to try that surface too.   Level:  Beginner to Advanced
