Service Description

Most people want to take better photos, but they often just lack the basic tools for improvement. While modern digital cameras have lots of bells and whistles, as the saying goes, the best camera is the one in your hand. This course will focus on composition, camera basics, and the elements that make up a good photograph. We will discuss software, printing, social media, photo editing, photo projects, and how to find inspiring subjects. Depending on the group, we may have time for a local field trip for training in the field. You may bring an iPhone, although a DSLR camera (such as a Nikon, Sony or Canon) will provide more learning opportunities. Please note, there is no class on October 17.
