Service Description

Learn to use a variety of watercolor techniques to paint birds and backgrounds. Through practical and fun demonstrations, students will learn to create striking, bold paintings with clean rich colors, composed in beautiful yet simple designs. This class will focus on fundamentals including: the tools for painting; materials, paint, paper, brushes, developing a strong composition, how to set up a painting, understanding color mixing, plus a variety of painting techniques such as wet-into-wet, glazing, lifting, masking, spattering and more. Kris will provide reference materials to aid students in painting a wide variety of birds including: hummingbird, chickadee, gold finch, blue jay and more. This class is suitable for beginning and intermediate watercolor artists. No refunds after July 18
